Bodum Replacement Mesh Filters
The Bodum Company produces a number of high quality French press coffee makers. Although they come in a variety of sizes and designs, they all have the same basic parts. A glass carafe to hold the coffee, a frame of plastic or stainless steel that includes a lid and a handle and a plunger/mesh filter unit. The part that is most commonly broken is the glass carafe as it can shatter easily if dropped. However, as Bodum’s French press coffee makers do not use disposable paper filters, the mesh filters can occasionally become clogged – especially if they are not maintained. If this happens, a new mesh filter can be purchased to replace the old one. Nearly all of Bodum’s French press coffee makers use the same mesh filters, so it is easy to find the proper replacement.
